What Can This Test Keyboard Tool Check?

Why Is My Keyboard Key Not Working?
A key that does not respond can have several causes: debris under the keycap, a damaged switch or membrane, a loose connection, an operating-system setting, keyboard remapping software, or a browser shortcut that captures the key. If a key fails here, test it in another program and another browser before deciding the keyboard hardware needs repair or replacement.
Test a Laptop Keyboard
The tester works with desktop and laptop keyboards that send standard browser keyboard events. Laptop function layers can behave differently because some Fn combinations are handled by the laptop firmware or operating system before the browser receives them.
